The project Order Of Waves presents the most current heading in the works of the Slovak multimedia artist Jaroslav Kyša. Initiated by the exhibition he has made the monumental video installation distorting the character of common reality, perception of the illustrated, he redefines perceiving time and generally doubts given certainties. Experimental film shows the author in the private minimalistic performances by the forms of which he disturbs an established image of a character and properties of time narrative. The conception of the exhibition comes from the author´s gained experience and develops his art strategies on. Kyša likes working with found (or snitched) material which he puts forward to new contexts. He makes characteristic post-conceptual works calculating with an active perceiving of the present while in favour of a general image of the future they draw on past experience.

Jaroslav Kyša (*1981, Žilina) lives and works in Bratislava. He studied in the Atelier of free 3D creativity at the Faculty of Arts, the Technical University of Košice and in the Atelier of space communication + at the Bratislava Academy of Fine Arts and Design where nowadays he works as an assistant of Anton Čierny. He completed residential stays in New York (Brooklyn Langer Residency), Leipzig (Halle 14) and Slovenia (CELEIA).
