Individual presentation of the prominent member of the Czech intermediate art Jiří Černický (1966) focuses on the line of his work that is at the interface between painting, image and object.

It concerns the whole series of works dealing with hybrid paintings, panels or netting. It deliberately deals with all possible, even contradictory and radical forms of object paintings and its conceptual and formal overlaps. It brings iconoclastic and defect approaches and other de-mentality of modelling a visual object. It concerns his unique reactive images, contact paintings, re-paintings, etc. This line includes art works responding to Loos modern interior and architecture (Centrifugal Panel, 2017), painting on a panel with a bike and a parked dog (Dolby Painting, 2013), thick relief panels, cycle Tiles (Dynamic Tiles, 2012); Echo ambient, 2017-18), or object paintings, where "active" minimalistic painting takes place by objects on the periphery of works (Minimax, 2012-14), etc.

Doc. Mgr. acad. painter Jiří Černický, born in 1966 in Ústí nad Labem, attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague(1997).
